Dr Brendan Gunalingam is an Interventional Cardiologist located at several hospitals in Sydney. After finishing his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney, Dr Gunalingam completed his basic physician training at The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, followed by a Cardiology Advanced Training at St Vincent’s Hospital. He obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2000. Following this, he completed sub-specialty training in Interventional Cardiology at St Vincent’s Hospital, The Eastern Heart Clinic, Prince of Wales Hospital. He also moved overseas to undertake further Interventional Cardiology training and work as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at The Cork University Hospital, Cork, Ireland.

Dr Gunalingam is also the Director of Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Gosford Private Hospital. He has also had numerous Principal and Co-investigator for multi-centre cardiology trials, and has also published and presented at a range of International Scientific Meetings.
