Dr Himabindu Samardhi is a Clinical Cardiologist and Cardiac Electrophysiologist located in Brisbane. She is a Staff Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, consults at the St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, and is an Associate at CVC CardioVascular Clinics.

She has an interest in all aspects of Electrophysiology including complex ablations for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, device implantation and inherited heart rhythm disorders.

Dr Samardhi completed her basic physician training at The Prince Charles Hospital and The Princess Alexandra Hospital. Following this, she completed a fellowship in Advanced Echocardiography and another fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and pacing. Himabindu completed two years of Electrophysiology training at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in Canada.

Dr Samardhi actively contributes to education and research and has a keen interest in mentoring fellowship students, nursing staff and medical students.
