Dr Martin Masterson is a Cardiologist Electrophysiologist located in Brisbane who currently consults at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside is a Visiting Medical Officer at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital. He was one of the co-founders of Queensland Cardiology.

Dr Masterson has experience in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology with a special interest in arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, syncope, and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators.

Martin completed his medical degree at the National University of Ireland, University College Galway. He has trained in advanced cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology across a number of institutes in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, including the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (QLD), Sir Charles Gardner Hospitals (WA), Royal Newcastle Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (NSW), St Thomas’ Hospital London (UK), and The Cleveland Clinic (USA).

Dr Masterson was the Director of Electrophyiology for over 10 years at The Prince Charles Hospital.
