Dr Tamer Badie is a Cardiologist and an Interventional Cardiologist with special interests in structural imaging, complex PCI, coronary angiography, intravascular imaging and physiology, structural intervention including TAVI (Transaortic valve implantation), alcohol septal ablation for HOCM, PFO closures, and CT Coronary Angiography. He introduced a Lipid Clinic at Campbelltown Public Hospital in 2021 and is involved in local and international trials, with publications in local and international journals.
He is a Staff Specialist at Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals and is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital, Campbelltown Private Hospital, and Hurstville Private Hospital. Dr Badie s a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at Western Sydney University and University of New South Wales where he is involved in regular student teaching, assessment and examination.
Dr Bradie completed his Medical Degree at Cairo University Medical School and underwent Physician and Cardiology training at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney NSW. He then went on to do his interventional fellowship training at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney which led to do another year of Interventional fellowship at University Hospital of South Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom focusing on structural intervention, including percutaneous aortic valve implantation [TAVI], Complex PCI, CTO procedures and alcohol septal ablation.
