Dr Edmund Lee is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist who specialises in the management of complex coronary artery disease, atrial septal defect, patent foramen ovale, and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. He also has a strong interest in a broad range of areas within general cardiology and consults on these regularly.

He also has a special interest in the percutaneous management of valvular heart disease, right heart catheterisation, heart biopsies, pacemaker implantation and transoesophageal echocardiography.

Dr Lee graduated from the University of Western Australia with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and soon after completed an internship and basic physician training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Following the completion of his advanced cardiology training at Fremantle Hospital, he began a two year interventional cardiology fellowship at the Edmonton, Canada Mazankowski’s Heart Institute.

Dr Lee currently consults at the WA Cardiology, Fremantle Hospital, St John of God Murdoch Hospital, and the Mount Hospital.
