Mr Mitnovetski has experience in all aspects of cardiothoracic surgery with a special interest in the treatment of coronary artery disease, aortic and mitral valve disease, lung cancer and other lung diseases. He also has extensive experience in transplant surgery, congenital cardiac surgery and chest trauma.

Sergi completed two years of fellowship experience in Congenital Cardiac Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Bristol Royal Infirmary (UK), and Toronto General Hospital (Canada).

He has also worked as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at The Townsville Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital both in Queensland, and Monash Medical Centre in Victoria.
