Dr Usaid Allahwala is a Cardiologist and Interventional Cardiologist with special interests in  in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure management and arrhythmias. He is an expertise in non-invasive assessment including interpretation of CT coronary angiography, echocardiography and stress testing, along with invasive assessment and treatment with coronary angiography. Dr Allahwala has a strong background in research having published more than 40 peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters including in the Oxford textbook of Interventional Cardiology.

He consults at North Shore Cardiac Centre, Cardiac Health Institute and North Shore Private Hospital. Dr Allahwala is a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney and convenor of the Masters of Medicine Course.

Dr Allahwala  is a graduate of the University of New South Wales with first class honours and then he undertook  general cardiology and interventional cardiology training at Royal North Shore Hospital. He completed his PhD in assessing the impact of the coronary collateral circulation and microvascular dysfunction in patients with advanced atherosclerotic disease from the University of Sydney
