Tom graduated from the Sydney Medical School (University of Sydney) in 2012 where he also completed Bachelor of Medical Science and Master of International Public Health degrees. He moved to Melbourne in 2013 to undertake his postgraduate training in General Practice for which he was awarded The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Richard Clinton Gutch Medal.
