Dr Stephen Pavia is a Cardiologist Electrophysiologist with clinical interests in cardiac device implantation, remote monitoring and the management of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, ventricular ectopic beats and ventricular tachycardia.

He currently practices within Genesis Care (formerly known as HeartCare Partners) predominantly at The Wesley Hospital as a Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist where he also runs a syncope clinic. He also regularly visits the Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton and leads an arrhythmia clinic at Westside Private Hospital.

Dr Pavia graduated from the University of Queensland and subsequent cardiology training at Princess Alexandra, Townsville General, Prince Charles and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals.

Dr Pavia went onto complete a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
