Dr Stephen Cox is an Interventional Cardiologist with a special interest in coronary angiograms and angioplasty, elective stenting care, interventional cardiology and structural heart disease.

He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at the Mater Private Hospital in Rockhampton and is a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Stephen completed his advanced cardiology training in Brisbane and went on to spend two years in Lahey Clinic in Boston, USA, where he developed his skills in interventional cardiology.

He is an Accredited TAVI Practitioner and part of the percutaneous aortic valve replacement (TAVR) programme at The Wesley and The Princess Alexandra Hospitals.
