Biography
Dr Shruti Rateesh is a Cardiac Imaging and Clinical Cardiologist that consults at CVC CardioVascular Clinics and North Lakes Specialist Centre. She has experience in the evaluation and management of patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, chest pain, valvular heart disease, and arrhythmias.
Shruti initially completed a degree in Biomedical Science at Bond University before completing a medical degree at the University of Sydney. She went on to complete her basic medical training and advanced cardiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. Following this, Shruti completed a Fellowship at Liverpool Hospital in Advanced Cardiac Imaging.
Dr Rateesh has expertise in all aspects of cardiac imaging including transthoracic, stress and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT and cardiac MRI.
Outside of her clinical roles, Dr Rateesh is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at both the University of Queensland and University of New South Wales, and dedicates time to training and supervising students and registrars.
