Sarah graduated in 1976 from the University of Natal, South Africa. Following an internship in 1977, Sarah migrated to Australia with her husband, Dr Siki Sabdia, in 1978.

Together they worked in a small country town, Port Broughton, in South Australia from 1978-1985. During that time they looked after a large farming community where Sarah enjoyed doing Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Paediatrics.

They moved to Brisbane in 1985, and, together with her husband, Sarah managed their own medical practice in Logan Village.

In 2007 she moved to Garden City Medical Centre to work with a dedicated group of Doctors who showed a passion to provide good medical care and support to patients.
