Sam completed his medical degree in 2014 with the University of Queensland, where he spent time rurally including in Bundaberg and Toowoomba. Since graduating, he has spent time working in the public hospital system on the Sunshine Coast including 12 months working as a paediatric registrar at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, gaining additional experience caring for and treating children and newborn babies, before moving into general practice. In his spare time Sam enjoys soccer, cricket, scuba diving and cooking.

Specialty interest areas: Sam enjoys all areas of general practice, with special interests in Paediatrics and Child Health (including newborns to adolescents), dermatology and skin cancer.
