Following extensive experience in the hospital system and military, Dr Peter Herbert has worked in general practice for the past 20 years.

He has special interests in occupational and aviation medicine, commercial and recreational diving medicine, travel medicine as well as all aspects of family medicine. Clinical medical experience includes extensive hospital-level experience in many different fields: especially accident/emergency, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology and psychiatry. Peter has extensive experience in various other medical applications: military (senior officer), rural/remote/wilderness medical roles, sports medicine (athletics, boxing, rugby league/union, ski-racing, swimming).

He is part of the local community with six children attending local schools.
