Cardiologist; Lecturer; Clinical Teacher in VIC

Dr Peter Habersberger is a Cardiologist with a subspecialty in the management and treatment of chest pain, shortness of breath and palpitations. He currently consults at the Cabrini Malvern Hospital.

Dr Peter Habersberger is a Cardiologist with a subspecialty in the management and treatment of chest pain, shortness of breath and palpitations. He currently consults at the Cabrini Malvern Hospital.

After completing his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science, Peter went on to specialise in Cardiology. He was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and is also a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ).

Dr Habersberger also has a special interest in aviation cardiology and is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Aerospace Medicine. He is a Consultant Cardiologist for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and to Surgeon General Australian Defence Force.

Outside of his clinical roles, Dr Habersberger has also held a number of roles in education and research such as a Lecturer for the “Immerse Program” at Deakin University Medical School, Clinical Teacher at Monash University and Board Member at the Baker Institute Research Institute.
