He is currently representing Australian General Practitioners on Arthritis Australia as well as the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee of Osteoporosis Australia.

He has been actively involved on the board of Brisbane North Division of General Practice; the Queensland branch of the AMA and has represented the Royal Australian College of GPs on the National Immunisation Committee.
