Dr Rowe holds roles as a Staff Specialist Electrophysiologist at Gold Coast University Hospital and Robina Hospital and also consults at the Gold Coast Private Hospital.

Matthew completed a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, both at the University of Queensland. Following this, he completed basic physician and advanced cardiology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospitals in Queensland.

He went on to complete a two-year Electrophysiology Fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and a further two years in Canada at the London Health Sciences Centre focusing on cardiac ablations and complex cardiac device management.

Dr Rowe is an Associate Lecturer at The University of Queensland, Senior Lecturer at Griffith University and also teaches medical students at Bond University. He actively contributes to research and publications in both national and international journals.
