Dr Mahila Abbass graduated from Medicine from Deakin University in Geelong in 2011. Prior to this she completed a degree in Behavioural Neuroscience and Honours research year at Monash University. She grew up in Melbourne and moved back in 2012 where she worked at the Austin Hospital for her junior doctor years.
