Dr Kevin Ng is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist located at the Gold Coast, QLD. He specialises in the treatment and management of heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, and ventricular tachycardia, along with inherited cardiac diseases and heart failure treatment.

He has experience in the implantation and management of a range of implantable cardiac electronic devices, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT).

Dr Ng began his medical training in the United Kingdom at the University of Bristol before returning to Australia to complete specialty training in cardiology at the Gold Coast Hospital and Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane. Following this, he pursued sub-specialty training in electrophysiology and pacing at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane before moving to Ontario, Canada, to complete an electrophysiology fellowship under the guidance of the esteemed Dr George Klein.

Before returning to the Gold Coast in 2024, Dr Ng was instrumental in starting the only arrhythmia service in the Far North of Queensland at the Cairns Hospital, where he was the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing. Additionally, during this time, he was the clinical lead for the region’s Heart Failure Service and introduced the only Cardiac Genomics clinic in the state which specialised in the treatment of inherited cardiovascular diseases.

Dr Ng has now established himself at the Gold Coast and sees patients at the Gold Coast Heart Centre rooms in Southport (Gold Coast Private) and Tugan (John Flynn Private).
