Dr Jithin Sajeev is a Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist who specialises in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders, heart failure and syncope (blackouts). He currently holds appointments at Eastern Health, Knox Private Hospital, Epworth Eastern Hospital and also runs a dedicated syncope clinic at the Box Hill Hospital.

Jithin completed his medical degree at the University of Otago in New Zealand and moved to Melbourne to complete his basic physician and advanced cardiology training at Eastern Health, Monash Health and Peninsula Health.

He completed further training through a fellowship focused on electrophysiology techniques for cardiac device implantation (pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders) as well as cardiac resynchronisation therapy for heart failure.

Dr Sajeev has a strong involvement in research with contributions to over 80 peer-reviewed publications and is currently completing a PhD focused on abnormalities of the heart that lead to stroke, through Monash University.
