Dr Homayoun Jalali is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon based in Brisbane with consultant positions at St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, and The Prince Charles Hospital. He also consults privately at the Queensland Heart and Lung Surgery.

After graduating from KUL Leuven, Belgium, Homayoun obtained postdoctoral fellowships from ULG Belgium and University of Pensylvania (USA) and London (UK).

Dr Jalali has a special interest in minimally invasive valve surgery including mitral valve repair, aortic valve and aortic root repair, surgery for atrial fibrillation, and minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
