Dr Gerard Connors is an Interventional Cardiologist who consults at The Wesley Hospital, Greenslopes Private Hospital and is a Visiting Medical Officer at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He also regularly visits clinics in Springfield and Emerald.

He has expertise in all aspects of interventional cardiology and vascular medicine and in the treatment of coronary artery disease, venous thromboembolism, hypertension, peripheral artery disease and renal artery intervention.

Gerard completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours at the University of Queensland and cardiology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He then undertook two sub-specialty fellowships in Interventional Cardiology at Stoney Brook University, New York and Interventional Vascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.

Outside of his clinical work, Gerard is also the Founder and Director of Fortitude Brewing Company.
