She undertook an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute in Canada and the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Scotland.

Dr Foo has a special interest in coronary interventions, cardiac risks of non cardiac surgery after a coronary revascularisation, and ischaemic heart disease in women.
