Dr Dennis Wang is an Interventional and Cardiac Imaging Cardiologist located at the Sydney Adventist, Gosford Private, and North Shore Private Hospitals. Dr Wang operates in private practice at Specialist Cardiology where he is also a Co-Principal.

After completing his degree with the University of New South Wales, Dennis completed his basic physician training at the Royal North Shore Hospital and advanced cardiology training at the Gosford Hospital. Following this, he completed an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Royal North Shore Hospital. Dr Wang has also completed a Masters of Public Health from Sydney University.

Dr Wang has a special interest in complex coronary intervention, coronary angiography, angioplasty, stenting and structural heart procedures including transcatheter aortic valve replacement, Mitraclip, patent foramen ovale closure and left atrial appendage closure with Watchman and Amulet devices. He is a proctor for both the Watchman and Amulet devices and presents live demonstrations of these techniques in Australia and internationally in China and Taiwan. Additionally, Dennis regularly performs a wide range of cardiac imaging and echocardiography, performing exercise stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and transoesophageal echocardiograms.

Dennis is a part of the Open Heart International volunteer program that help teach Cardiologists in Myanmar, Burma. He has been on numerous Medical Advisory Boards and regularly contributes his knowledge and experience to research publications and presentations.
