Dr Chi-Jen Hsu is a cardiologist with specialties in advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging using cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. Dr Chi-Jen Hsu is a cardiologist with specialties in advanced non-invasive cardiac imaging using cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. He is a Level 3-trained CMR physician and has scanned and reported 500 scans during his fellowship years. He was the national finalist for the Ralph Reader Prize on cardiac research.

He completed his clinical cardiology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital(RPAH), Sydney and subsequently undertook his PhD at the University of Sydney in stem cell research. Dr Hsu finished his subspecialty cardiovascular MRI training on congenital heart diseases at Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance(CMR), Sydney and the RPAH. In 2012, he finished CMR fellowship at The Heart Hospital of University College London (UCL), where he developed his expertise in stress myocardial imaging, and imaging of complex cardiomyopathy patients from Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Centre at The Heart Hospital.

Dr Hsu is working as a Cardiologist and Cardiac MRI consultant at RPAH and Blacktown Hospital and a CMR consultant at RPAH, SMRI and Heartscan Australia.
