Beth is a graduate of Otago University in New Zealand. After obtaining her Medical degree, Beth moved to Queensland in 1997.

Beth has been working as a GP since 2010, and trained with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also has 12 years’ experience of hospital-based medicine: Emergency, Paediatrics, General Medicine, Surgery and Anaesthesia.

Beth’s special interests include Skin conditions (adolescent and adult acne, ageing skin, spots and Rosacea), Full skin checks, Women/Sexual Health/ Contraception/ Menopause, Children’s Health and vaccinations, Chronic disease management and preventive health care, Pre-Employment assessment, Mental health, and Weight loss management.

Her skills include Insertion and Removal of Implanon, Minor skin excisions and removed of skin lesions, Mental health care plans preparation and GP management plans preparations.

Beth is Bilingual, speaking both English and Farsi fluently. She enjoys general practice and finds it very rewarding. It has enabled her to achieve a good work and family life balance, as a mum to 3 school aged children. She spends her spare time catching up with family and friends, bushwalking, beach and nature, cooking and Yoga.
