Dr Bernie Changsiri is an Interventional Cardiologist who specialises in complex coronary artery stenting, complex coronary interventions, and atherosclerosis. He is the winner of the 2012 American Heart Association Young Investigator Award.

He works at Blacktown Hospital and is a Clinical Lecturer at Western Sydney University.

Dr Changsiri has a PhD in vascular biology from Sydney University. Before that, he completed his medical degree with First Class Honors from the University of Sydney. He then went on to undertake physician training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and subsequently completed his cardiology training at the Royal Hobart and Westmead Hospitals. He finished his training in field of coronary intervention at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, USA where he had exposure to the latest interventional techniques and was trained under some of the world’s most experienced cardiologists.
