Biography
Associate Professor Andrew Ajani is a General and Interventional Cardiologist located in Melbourne. He is a consultant at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne, Royal Melbourne Hospital, and Melbourne Private Hospital. Additionally, he is a Director at the Melbourne Interventional Group, an Associate Lecturer at Melbourne University and Monash University, and a Senior Lecturer for the Australian College of Physicians.
A/Prof Ajani has expertise in cardiac investigations including coronary angiography and angioplasty, echocardiography, stress testing, CT coronary angiography, electrophysiology testing, and pacemaker implantation. He has a special interest in acute coronary syndromes, preventative cardiology, and coronary in-stent restenosis which is what his Mater of Medicine thesis focused on.
