Associate Professor Vijay Solanki is a Consultant Cardiologist with special interests in general cardiology, echocardiography, and CT angiography.

A/Prof Solanki is the Director of Cardiac Services at Northern Beaches Hospital, overseeing both the Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery departments. He is also a Visiting Medical Officer at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, and is the Principal of Heart Centre, a private practice with rooms in Castle Hill, Merrylands, and Rouse Hill.

Vijay graduated with Honours from the University of Sydney when he completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), followed by a Master of Medicine (MMed) at Concord Hospital, Sydney.

Following his studies, Vijay completed his specialty cardiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, and later completed a Fellowship in Echocardiography also at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.

Outside of his clinical roles, A/Prof Solanki is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney and is highly experienced in teaching and hospital development.
